Abstract

The article presents a linguistic-stylistic and comparative analysis of A. K. Tolstoy’s poem «Haco der Blinde» and author’s translation of its fragment. It is noted that on the basis of the comparison of these literary works, created by the Russian poet, it is possible to conclude that the author’s translations are not automatic translation of the poetic texts but independent and valuable poetic works, in which one more aspect of the Russian poet’s great talent was realized.

Key words

A. K. Tolstoy, Russian-German literary and historical-cultural relations, poetical translation, author’s translation, literary detail.
